The term Energy, in the context of human society and the humanities, is generally used in the sense of energy resources, and very often refers to substances such as fuels, petroleum derivatives and electricity in general. These are usable energy sources, in the sense that they can be easily transformed into other types of energy sources that can serve a particularly useful purpose.
